Security Operations Analyst SOC Analyst/InfoSec UP TO 550 p/d Umbrella 6-month initial contract Client HQ in Leeds with remote working options Start ASAP Are you a SOC Analyst / Security Operations Analyst looking for an exciting opportunity to join an organisation experiencing significant change / transformation across the IT Security function? Our client, a leading Insurance organisation based in Leeds are looking for a SOC Analyst to join them on an initial 6 - month contract to work across projects whilst providing BAU support. Responsibilities of the Security Operations Analyst: Good level of knowledge in network fundamentals, for example, OSI Stack, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), SMTP Good level of understanding in the approach threat actors take to attacking a network, phishing, port scanning, web application attacks, DDoS, lateral movement. Ability to analyse vulnerabilities and threats. Ability to review designs, procedures, and architectural diagrams. Ability to produce reports for distribution to senior management. Proven experience with commercial SIEM and EDR systems. Good knowledge of Cyber Security Incident Response processes & procedures.
