This is a super opportunity for an Applications Support Consultant with Sage 50, Sage 200 or accounting, finance, or ERP software support experience, to work with a really friendly, professional and busy team of Software Implementation Consultants and Support Analysts building strong client relationships.
You will provide first and second line support to customers on accounting and ERP software queries, taking your support calls by phone or email and logging them onto the support database. You will allocate and escalate calls where necessary, monitoring the calls to hit your daily KPI's and ensuring that your clients' problems are dealt with speedily and to their satisfaction. There will be plenty of opportunities in the future to get involved in software implementation and / or training if you wish to.
You need an outgoing personality, a really good telephone manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills with good problem solving skills. You will enjoy working for a small company, 30 strong, where you can make real impact and use your initiative.

They are a small to mid sized software business where your contribution will really make a difference - they will cross train you on their software and you will work with a great team of consultants, developers and support staff, as well as the management who are still hands on and very approachable. Their offices are located outside of town near Bournemouth Airport and near Ringwood, so you would need to be a car owner to get here. A base salary of £25-30k is on offer plus benefits.
The software they sell encompasses all aspects of ERP including accounting, invoicing, manufacturing, warehouse management, distribution, bill of materials, HR, purchasing, CRM, EPoS and E-commerce and you will have the opportunity to learn all of these modules.
You will join the support desk answering email and telephone queries regarding accounting and ERP software, providing a high level of quality support to both customers and consultants. You will resolve or escalate queries and requests, logging all support requests and completing the necessary documentation. As well as your knowledge of accounting or ERP software, you should have really good communication and problem solving skills, plenty of initiative and the ability to multi-task.
There will also be the opportunity to get involved in some client training, and to move in to software implementation in the future if you wish to. However if you are happy in a support desk role, and don't want to travel, then you can stay in support.
This is a small, specialist software company with an excellent work ethic and good career prospects.
