* Where deemed appropriate act as defect manager on projects where Test Lead
* Use automated testing framework and tools to implement and maintain automated test suites
* Write integration tests from technical documentation
* Use SQL skills to write statements and manipulate data.

We are urgently looking for a Senior Test Lead to join a small agile team that blends 3rd party development with internal resources to create a new website on top of a market leading CMS system with significant bespoke development undertaken by the internal team.
You will be the sole tester within a small Scrum team, working alongside two full stack web developers, a BA, UX resource and a Scrum Master; experience as part of a team extending a top CMS is desirable, on top of bespoke web development testing.
To complement this you will also work on the testing of the core Enterprise Systems where the teams work in more conventional waterfall methods and tests are fully documented, with test plans in Quality Centre.

Role Responsibilities;
- You will be responsible for defining the agile testing practices, and will be enthusiastic about and experienced in automated tests to support Continuous Delivery.
- Collaboration with Business Analysts and Developers to agree UAT tests that get automated; experience in Continuous Delivery, with investment in automation allowing us to make rapid changes/releases would be beneficial
- You will use your people management skills to lead less senior testers and colleagues from the wider area of the business who are UAT testing under your supervision.
- You will uphold testing standards and contribute to their definition and the team's definition of done.
- Where automation isn't possible you will ensure that manual testing is documented
