An experienced Sage ERP X3 Developer is sought for an internal role with one of the most visionary companies we have had the pleasure to work with. Their sensational products have had a rapid global uptake and in the 5 years since their inception, they have grown to 80 employees, 60 of whom are based in the UK.
This fast growing technology company develops and sells some of the most innovative products to come to the market in the last few years and it is already a world leader in the supplier space in this field. They are all about strategic vision and commercial focus; they have world class manufacturing, engineering and scientific expertise, and they are re-inventing the future with their products. This is an exciting place to work!
Here we have a lynch pin role for a Sage ERP X3 Developer to work alongside the directors and the finance & operations teams, to achieve their long term objectives for their Sage ERP X3 solution. There are plenty of other software developers working on the product development side and building their product portfolio, but you will look after the development of their Sage ERP X3 internal software, developing technical solutions for the company's business requirements. So that covers finance, R & D, manufacturing, distribution, stock control, supply chain and billing.
An excellent package is on offer with salary to £60k, plus full benefits which include private health care, life assurance, death in service benefits, income protection insurance, child care vouchers, very good sick pay scheme, 5 weeks' holiday, free fruit, free parking and a great start to the weekend, with an early finish on Fridays.
You will be a key player in the future development and the maintenance of their Sage ERP X3 software. You will work with stakeholders and users to design and implement X3 changes and enhancements and agree overall process flows, and will be involved in all phases of the software development life cycle including technical analysis, specification, design, development, testing, documentation and deployment. You should be capable of designing and executing business requirements into X3 development deliverables and to write maintainable application code.
Hands-on experience with SQL scripting is required as their current report writing tools are not up to scratch, and if you are able to manage their Sage Server as well, this would be a bonus as it is currently looked after by a third party. You will also take responsibility for Sage ERP X3 user training and user guide documentation, as well as the management and maintenance of their X3 software.
Quick skills profile:
*Fully proficient in developing and supporting Sage ERP X3 and related integrations
*Experienced in the SDLC of Sage ERP X3
*SQL Script Writing
*Able to develop Sage X3 technical solutions to requirements in a complex applications environment
*You write really good maintainable application code and your documentation is excellent
*You communicate really well and get on with people at all levels from shop floor to board room
*You are a self-starter and can deliver great results
*You want to work for a rapidly growing company working at the cutting edge of product innovation

Superb role for a highly motivated Software Sales Executive for new business sales of a WMS / Warehouse Management / Inventory / Supply Chain system that links as an add-on to ERP solutions and allows large wholesalers and retailers to reduce their stock levels. The savings that customers get from using this innovative software solution puts money in the bank and increases their profits.
They are looking for a top notch ERP Sales Executive or someone who is an experienced Supply Chain / WMS Sales Executive in the wholesale or retail market. If you are an ERP Software Sales Executive they are offering a base salary of £50k with a car allowance and OTE of £100k - BUT if you have already sold similar Warehouse Management Systems or Supply Chain solutions into the retailer or wholesaler market and have active contacts, they would pay up to a £70k base with an OTE of £140k.
The company is the European market leader in this specialist software niche and has grown 25% in the UK over the last few years. You will do deals of between £75k and £400k, with average deal size of £110k. Once you are up and running your target will be £200k per quarter, so it is around 1 deal a month. A typical deal here would be 705 licences and 30% services. They are a global company but have been well established in the UK for 8 years.
Their innovative product links well with mid to large ERP solutions such as SAP, Sage ERP X3, Dynamics AX, Dynamics NAV, IFS, Exact, Deltek, Infor, Syspro, JDE, Epicor and other bespoke solutions; they can make it work with anything.
Why is this a good job?
*Really good company atmosphere without the corporate paperwork and limits
*They make decisions quickly and it feels like a small entrepreneurial business
*The MD is still an active salesman, so he is very supportive of the sales team
*Very sellable product
*If you talk to the right client this is a straightforward sales process, with obvious bottom line rewards
*Great marketing and sales support team
*Really classy company events twice a year in Spain and Switzerland
*Appointment bookers
However you will need to generate some leads yourself; there are not enough leads gifted to you to keep you busy, so you will need to do some of your own cold calling, emailing and lead generation.
Your profile:
*Successful New Business Sales Executive with ERP, WMS or Supply Chain software sales
*You understand complex business software applications
*Ability to generate leads and run marketing campaigns in conjunction with marketing team
*You understand and articulate the value proposition of software solutions
*You are an active networker
*Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to board level
*Ability to maintain professionalism and adapt and deliver in a fast paced and complex environment
*Proven track record of meeting and exceeding your targets
*Dynamic personality
*You are tenacious with a can do attitude
*You live within a 90 minute commute of their Redditch offices
This is a superb opportunity for a top notch ERP software sales person to shift into a lucrative niche and make some good money. And if you are a real match with ERP, Warehouse Management, Inventory or Supply Chain software sales experience into the retail or wholesale market, there will be even more money on offer.
