Systems Analyst

Permanent Systems Analyst role based near Sleaford for a manufacturing business. SQL / NAV / VBA Your new company A Lincolnshire based, privately owned manufacturing business that are a market leader in product design and innovation, who have won a host of awards from their high profile customer base. Your new role As Systems Analyst you will reporting into the Head of Finance and act as the sole professional managing all data within the business across various sources including a bespoke internal system and a Microsoft Dynamics NAV system, for which you will take responsibility for the day to day administration and development of. On a daily basis you will be querying/administering an SQL server across various databases and developing/supporting Visual Basic Applications, there will be regular use of Advanced Excel functionality including VBA. You will be working with a variety of senior stakeholders within the business to document change requirements and ensure that the IT systems are developed to meet the ever changing needs of the business. What you'll need to succeed You will be well-organised, self-starter who can manage a range of competing priorities and deliver outcomes by given deadlines. You will be able to build strong working relationships within and across work streams and departments; and able to influence in order to deliver desired outcomes. You will also be results orientated whilst being flexible in daily work routine to cater to ad hoc requests & issues. A strong knowledge of SQL queries, Excel and VBA are critical, although an understanding of MS Access and MS Dynamics NAV would also be beneficial.
