Automation Testers (Python), Edinburgh This exciting world leading technology giant is going through a sustained period of growth and is looking to add several Automation Testers (Python) to join their growing Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. As an Automation Tester you will help define and build quality into their everyday delivery process to aid the testing of technology that really works. Working with all delivery roles, you will contribute at every stage of the product lifecycle. From research and discovery to iterative development, rollout and long term maintenance. They have many projects running concurrently, so they hold regular QA meetups to share knowledge and maintain a coherent approach to their work. You will also have the opportunity for occasional travel to meet their other teams in our offices in New York, Orlando, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Santa Monica. Their software testers all have a sound grounding in software delivery, strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. You won't join them to rest on your laurels, though. They will help you develop and learn more in your career, and there are opportunities for development via both management and technical leadership paths. The successful QA Engineers will have: * Solid QA Testing experience using Agile practices and working as part of a SCRUM team * Python skills for automation testing * Writing automated, functional, acceptance and regression test scripts * Good breadth of knowledge in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle * Ability to work with developers to plan scope of unit and integrations tests for test-driven development Highly desirable: * Continuous integration and build tools such as Jenkins, Ant, Puppet or Chef. * Specific experience with functional web testing tools such as Selenium On offer are unrivalled career development opportunities, a chance to work with the latest cutting edge technologies, and work alongside some of the most talented engineering team and an exceptional package.
