Software Test Analyst (.NET/NUnit/Selenium)

Software Tester / QA Automated Test Analyst (Microsoft .NET and NUnit) based in Manchester paying £30,000 to £40,000 per year. The Opportunity: A Microsoft focused Software Tester (.NET C#) with strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies to work within our in-house team supporting our client’s growing range of niche and industry sector specific websites. Our client’s presence in their South Manchester offices has grown and grown over the last 5 years or so and are now looking for an experienced QA Tester to join their talented Web Development practice. Skills and Experience: • 2-3 years’ of manual and automated testing experience • A strong knowledge of web or desktop application working environments • Preparing test scripts and test data for both manual and automated testing • Experience with Automated Testing frameworks; C# .Net • Selenium UI Testing Suite (MS Test / NUnit Testing Suites) • HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, JQuery • Degree / qualification in computer science or related subject Role and Responsibilities: You will work as part of our client’s successful development team to support a variety of websites and CRM systems, working from briefs and assignments from the business and the development team. It will be your role to deliver an excellent standard of code back to the business consistent with their defined best practices and standards. You will be all of the relevant training and opportunities to learn about regulatory and compliance requirements to ensure ay maintenance requests ensure the relevant security measures are in place to protect the company and customer data, adhering to the guidelines set out by out by the company’s IT security advisors. You will then communicate all progress made, highlighting risks, issues and where relevant proposing contingencies and solutions.
