DevOps Engineer / Linux Engineer / System Administrator Permanent position, Bath based. Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 An innovative and modern business based out of Bath requires a DevOps Engineer to join a highly team of efficient and talented team of engineers. The location is central Bath and the office environment is very modern. They offer a casual dress code, a fantastic social/break out area (heavily used by the engineers and developers within the business) and flexible working hours. The requirement is for a DevOps Engineer with the following skills set: * Linux System Administration * Continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab) * Virtualisation (VMware, Xen, KVM, Docker) * Programming languages (Python, Bash, Perl, JavaScript) The core purpose of the role is with emphasis on the 'Dev' within the operations department. The business is infrastructure orientated and offers a solution delivered through a state of the art cloud based platform. The main responsibilities are: * Designing, implementing and supporting the software development tool stack; consulting with the development & testing teams * Automating the build, test, packaging and deploy pipeline * Deploy software to production servers * General system administration This is an exceptional opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of a relatively new business that embraces the work life style culture.
