Senior Linux System Administrator

Are you someone who finds that Linux System Administration comes to them as naturally as breathing? If so, then this role as Senior Linux System Administrator could be exactly what you are looking for. Working for the UK's fastest growing company in their market, a company who are already a market leader, you join a team working with high volume and high availability RDBM systems. This role as Senior Linux System Administrator will also require you to manage web services using Apache with Mod_Perl, Nginx, Tomcat and PHP, all while scripting with your favourite flavour from Bash, Perl or Python.

What you need for this role:
* Linux system knowledge bordering on the encyclopaedic- that you will use daily
* Experience of dealing with high volume RDBMS, ideally MySQL, is essential to this role
* Scripting experience with Perl, Python or Bash- you don't have to have all three, though that would be excellent
* Web services management with Apache- and I don't mean the attack helicopter!
Other desirable skills:
* Prior knowledge of AWS would be a boon, and you will get the chance to build on this knowledge
* If you have worked with Percona MySQL HA solution or similar, you will certainly have an edge on the competition
