Job Description

The Role This role will see the successful candidate contribute to the Groups strategic direction over the next 5 years Other duties include: * Implement and maintain the Group's IT Strategy in line with Business Plan * Negotiate contract terms and Service Level Agreements (SLA's) with third party suppliers * Keep up to date with developments in the computer industry, specifically with regard to those systems that are relevant to the Group's business. * Ensue continuity of service * Manage the IT Division on a day to day basis ensuring all IT and communications services are provided and performed * Ensure that users have equipment and access to systems needed to complete their day to day tasks. * Training of relevant staff with procedures and practices * Monitor the performance of third parties against support agreements ensuring that any issues or concerns are addressed. * Monitor and control budgets * Assist in the setting of annual budgets The Candidate * Previous track record as an IT Manager within a Charity or Not-for-Profit * Knowledge of current IT systems and trends * Knowledge of Data protection * Excellent communications skills, written and oral * Project Management and System Implementations would be of an advantage * Ability to negotiate, monitor and manage SLA's
