As the Head of IT, you’ll lead the implementation of our IT strategy, focusing on bringing together and managing information through technology. With any large and complex organisation, our operations and aspirations are underpinned by technology and we have an ambitious Business Systems Modernisation Programme that is set to come online in 2017. Part of this programme involves the development of new key ERP, CRM and WCMS systems. You will lead the support and ongoing development of these systems, as well as protecting charity data and information. You will also lead the IT Team, taking accountability for meeting strategic objectives, delivering consistent IT services and managing resources, suppliers and risks. As a senior, strategic member of our team, you will represent the RNLI and the IT Team at internal and external forums and will act as a business partner, providing guidance, leadership and direction on all IT matters. If so, you will need to: - Be an IT subject matter expert - Have senior strategic management and/or executive experience in the leading and development of an information management function - Have clear and successful leadership experience of complex change management programmes, particularly in the field of IT - Possess a good understanding of ITIL approaches and experience in the use of project frameworks, ideally coupled with a project qualification - A degree level qualification (or equivalent) in business management Inspirational and influential, as the Head of IT, you’ll need to be a motivated and enthusiastic leader, a great collaborator and a strong communicator.
