You will be based out of Newport working for an international leading provider of software solutions for the financial services industry, who provide support and constant innovation to their products. You will be working in an organisation who are rapidly progressing, having recently doubled their profits.
You will be providing 1st and 2nd line support to internal customers, working in a call centre environment providing support in a Windows environment. On a day to day basis you will be providing hardware and application support, configuring hardware and software and evaluating and testing new hardware and software for use in the organisation.
You will have a broad knowledge of working in a Windows based environment and be able to demonstrate your natural communication skills in an ITIL environment.
The skills that you will have to demonstrate are; a strong understanding and ability to deliver customer service in a 1st and 2nd Line Support role; a strong practical understanding of working in a Windows based environment, supporting and troubleshooting Windows Server, Windows 7, Microsoft Office and Active Directory Administration and finally experience of software installation and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will also have a great understanding of the ITIL framework and Avaya Telephony.
