Job Description

Our key client based in Oxfordshire is going through incredible growth plans and requires a Solutions Architect to join their group IT team, to work closely with the IT leadership group, project teams and senior business leaders. As the Solutions Architect you will ensure that IT is aligned to the business strategy and will create / maintain the roadmap and plan to deliver the IT Strategy. Working with the internal teams and 3rd party partners to build a holistic view of the organisation and will come with leadership experience covering a range of business analysis and organisation / technology solution design. You will develop an understanding of the evolving business needs and ensure IT is aligned to meet these operational and strategic goals. Advise and mentor diverse teams, which may include business and partner resources, in technical and functional aspects of project deliverables. Also, support the overall programme planning / control and delivery of technical components by managing and working collaboratively across multiple partners. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as technical design authority / architect in an enterprise role, with a proven ability to analyse, design, and optimise business processes via technology and integration. Possess technology breadth covering; Infrastructure, integration, information mgmt., applications, business processes, channels and security and depth in multiple areas to drive end to end technology solutions. Also, possess architectural experience across complex and diverse technologies that include: * Microsoft Azure; IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS * SAAS - Salesforce, Oracle Finance, SuccessFactors * Automation and DevOps; SCCM * (experience with) Virtual private clouds, Windows Server, SQL Server and IIS * (exposure to) Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), web Single Sign-on (SSO) You will have a good understanding of the EA frameworks (for e.g. TOGAF, Zachman), having applied one or more of these frameworks in practice. Possessing the ability to work at all levels and explore / deliver technical solutions to operational problems.
