PHP Developer PHP Developer required to work on a number of different by of projects from simple static websites to enterprise B2B eCommerce Platforms. My client also develops in-house solutions to support their EDI, Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Purchasing and Customer Service teams. PHP Developer will work within the Web Team which provides services to other companies within the group so collaboration with and occasional travel to other sites may be required. Agile Development is key to the success of their projects. There is significant opportunity to pick up new skills and knowledge. PHP Developer Essential Skills - PHP5 and at least one mainstream PHP Framework - MySQL - MVC and OOP - HTML5 - CSS3 - JavaScript - jQuery PHP Developer Desirable Skills - AJAX - Yii or Yii2 PHP Framework - Version Control using Subversion or Git. - XML Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven hands-on working experience in - Development - Frontend Web Solutions - Backend Web Solutions - Form handling - Relational Databases - A PHP Framework such as Yii, Symphony, CodeIgniter, CakePHP or Zend - Bootstrap3 or similar Responsive CSS Framework Candidates with some experience of the following would be an advantage - Integration with Payment Gateways and other APIs - SOAP or REST Web Services - Apache and Linux - Microsoft .Net and/or Java - Google Analytics management - Wordpress CMS and WooCommerce - GitHub - Magento - OutSystems Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
