Who are we?
Masabi is the global leader in mobile ticketing and fare collection for transportation. We deliver transport ticketing solutions that delight customers and reduce cost for agencies and operators. Masabi’s JustRide is a scalable mobile ticketing and fare management platform, which allows agencies to upgrade or replace their legacy ticketing systems at a fraction of the cost of traditional options and at minimum risk to our agency partners.
Our JustRide platform was rolled out in New York last year and single handedly reduced the queues at Grand Central Station. JustRide continues to grow in popularity and is currently live in 10 different states and cities across the globe... a number which should triple this year.
What will you be doing as our Front End Developer?
The JustRide team are responsible for the development of our iOS and Android applications, our new web sales platform, our back office web portal and the API’s and SDK’s that power these. These platforms combined currently process over $0.25 billion transactions a year. With these kinds of numbers, security and fraud mitigation are paramount to our success.
We ensure high standards by comprehensive end to end and unit testing, as well as refactoring to ensuring we work to the latest standards, best practices and up to date frameworks. We work as part of a cross-discipline team who deliver robust and reusable components originating from product requirements through UX, design, development, and quality assurance. We are looking for a pro-active person to join the team and actively contribute to code reviews, pairing, knowledge sharing, mentoring and technical roadmapping.
