Automation Test Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automation Test Engineer, to join a leading media technology company, based in central London. They are going through a large period of growth and due to increased demand in their services, require an Automation Test Engineer to join their vibrant team. Successful candidates will join the QA team and will be responsible for the following: *Create test procedures and execute manual and automated tests for assigned products to provide assurance that they comply with, or exceed its clients' function. *Design and develop test automation framework or modify existing test framework *Procure the components required and then set up the test and quality assurance function *Produce and maintain test scripts Required Experience: *Development and scripting skills using one or more of the following: Python, Bash, Power Shell. *3 years of commercial software QA experience including building, instrumenting and using automation system platforms and frameworks. *Good understanding of the Linux operating system. *Continuous integration environments covering: source code repositories; version control; build creation; unit, integration and system tests. *Good attention to detail and good communication skills *Knowledge of Embedded systems (Desirable) *Understanding of broadcast video technology (Desirable) In return the company are offering a starting salary of between 35-45k, with full company benefits.
