Professional Services Engineer ( Security and Wireless Focused )
Primary Office Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Reporting to: Client Services Manager
Specifically, your primary role on the Professional Services Team is to provide our client's customers with design and implementation of projects from a technical perspective, delivered both remotely and at the customers' sites.
Your duties in the Professional Services team include:
Participation in Professional Services and Projects.
Assuming the primary role and responsibility for delivering all technical elements of client projects.
Working as part of a team where required, including other PS engineers, project managers, sales account managers and any client staff.
Supporting, advising and guiding clients to deliver maximum business benefits from the project, both in the design and implementation phases.
Delivering high quality, best practice implementations and documentation.
Working within timeframes assigned to projects and ensuring timely information flow to the Technical Manager and/or team before, during and after a project.
Working unsupervised at client sites and representing our client in a professional manner at all times, including being of smart appearance, punctual and courteous.
Undertaking projects to enhance internal applications, support tools or services as required.
Commitment to improve professional and technical knowledge.
Undertake personal accreditations as required by the company as part of an agreed training plan.
Producing documented designs and implementation information
Attending customer sites to implement new solutions
Attending meetings with customers as a technical expert
Cisco CCNA Security (at least part) qualified
Cisco CCNA Wireless (at least part) qualified
Experience of deploying Cisco ASA technologies including FirePOWER
Experience in deploying Cisco wireless technologies including converged wireless
Experience in conducting wireless surveys
Experience in deploying Cisco R&S
Understanding of Campus network design
Outstanding documentation skills including the use of Word and Visio
Excellent spoken and written English
Experience in deploying Meraki WLAN solutions
Service Provider experience
Cisco CCNP accreditation
Additionally, as a Professional Services engineer you should be quick to learn, very organised, have a keen eye for attention to detail. Using your time effectively and diligently is also key to being successful in this role.
The successful candidate will be based in our clients' Brighton office.
