Service Delivery Team Leader MANCHESTER UP TO £23,000 - £27,000 + BENEFITS We are recruiting on behalf of a leading and well known Internet & Telecommunications business located in the heart of Manchester. The business has been experiencing exceptional growth and they are now looking to expand the team due to continued success of the organisation. As a Service Delivery Team Leader you will lead, develop and manage a small but growing team of Order Delivery Managers who are responsible for proactively managing the provisioning processes Key Responsibilities To provide day to day support and supervision to the Service Delivery Team Monitor and manage the distribution of work, and report on team performance, progress of services and issues/risks Provide support and resolution to issues escalated from the Service Delivery Team Engage in supplier performance reviews, representing the Service Delivery team and championing a maintained strong professional working relationship Conduct monthly one to one's with individual team members as well as formal reviews To monitor and record sickness absence and manage issues as appropriate Contribute to the on-going development of the wider Service Delivery function by sharing knowledge, experience and expertise To recognise opportunities for improvement to procedures and practices and proactively offering ideas and solutions to problems which impact or influence team performance or the business Other reasonable duties and projects as defined by your line managerExperience & Skills Previous people management experience in a product/service provisioning or similar role Previous experience in ISP/Telecoms business together with sound knowledge of connectivity services such as Ethernet and EFM is desirable Experience of managing and resolving complex customer and provisioning issues and seeing these through to successful resolution Able to converse clearly and concisely over the phone, by e-mail and in person internally and externally at a variety of levels Capable of managing own team and workload with minimal supervision Ability to work on own initiative whilst contributing to the wider team Able to demonstrate a natural aptitude for coaching and people management Excellent communication skills A 'Can do' attitude with a willingness to learn Excellent organisational and time management skills THE PERSON: A good understanding of the different types of internet connections including; ADSL, EFM, FTTC, Leased Lines
