UI/UX Designer

UI/UX Designer Coventry £35K-£45K depending upon experience We are looking for a talented and passionate UI/UX designer to join our existing development team working on a strategic new product in our Coventry based offices. My client are the market leader in online payments continuing to expand following many years of consistent growth. Reporting to a project technical lead or the development director, your focus will be predominantly UI/UX design and development for web and mobile applications. This is an exciting opportunity to join a focused, enthusiastic and growing team. Role Requirements Exceptional UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio of UX design work. Ability to design and present solutions, from early stage sketches and wireframes through to working prototypes and hi-definition mocks. Excellent understanding of information architecture and UX design principles. Excellent understanding of usability and accessibility requirements. Proven experience of designing across multiple platforms. Exceptional communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners and stakeholders as part of the design process. Ability to understand product strategy, direction, vision and user needs. Self-reliant with the desire to learn new techniques and technologies. Minimum of 3 years commercial or agency UI/UX design experience. Beneficial Skills Understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and overall front-end development. Understanding of Javascript and Javascript UI frameworks. Experience of working in eCommerce or financial services. Experience of working with agile development teams. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
