Specific Opportunity
We are looking for a number of experienced highways design engineers to join various locations around the UK. You will support with both the continued growth of our talent and capability and the delivery of our long term pipeline of infrastructure design work.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for project delivery and undertake the role of technical lead on a range of highway and transportation related projects:

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead and mentor a small team of engineers, technicians and apprentices within own discipline working on a variety of projects.
As a line manager for a small number of staff you will assist with the technical development of more junior staff.
You will be responsible for the preparation.
of feasibility studies, technical reports, detailed designs and production of contract documents across a variety of projects.
Use your knowledge and skills in working together with the team and other disciplines in providing an integrated service to clients.
Help seek innovative solutions in achieving best value in delivering our services.
Help development of the team through the delivery of projects and commissions, providing technical and administrative support and leadership where required.

Technical design experience gained in the transporation sector (Highways, Rail or Aviation).
