Our client, a global Professional Services firm are looking for an Automation Developer to bring expertise and experience across Automation Anywhere and UI Path development, undertaking development activity on new and existing automated solutions.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 Months

Your day-to-day activities will include

• Creating detailed technical design for automated solutions and completing detailed solution design documents
• Completing the technical development of automated solutions according to an approved Solution Design document and within the companies’ technical standards and best practices
• Responsible for functional testing on developed components and working with Business Analysts across the design of formal testing automated solutions
• Creating detailed test plans and test specifications
• Creating a formal deployment plan/checklist for approval and deploying automated solutions into a live, production environment
• Integrating automated solutions into business workflow and performance management tools
• Creating detailed technical project plans for development activity
• Providing regular updates on progress against time, cost and quality metrics
• Working with the support team to complete handover documentation and provide technical walkthroughs of automated solutions and underlying code
• Providing updates on development progress, testing and deployment activities

What knowledge, skills & experience we need

• Must be accredited to advance/expert level in Automation Anywhere or UI Path
• Minimum of two years’ experience working as a developer of automated solutions in Automation Anywhere or UI Path
• Minimum of one years’ experience working in technical solution design
• Proven experience in design and execution of formal testing as part of a development or focused testing role
• Previous experience working as the sole developer on an automation project
• Ability to implement supporting technologies as part of automated solutions including tools such as Microsoft SQL, C#, Python, HTML, Java/Javascript, .Net, VB/VBA
• Experience of development using document understanding tools desirable
