Key requirements of the role are to create an approved suite of PowerBI models & reports to automate, consolidate and rationalise the various methods by which BI is produced today, to support the Groups strategy. One of the key objectives is to continually improve the reporting from the UK BI & Data team to reduce manual production time, whilst providing the most optimum visual aided reports to the business users and clients for the purpose of driving continuous business improvement, insight & analysis. Below is a breakdown of the role -Developing BI & data applications using PowerBI and be familiar with Azure data lakes, Data Bricks, Azure data factory, Azure SQL data warehouse, Azure synapse & Azure analysis service. -Maintain our PBI Workspaces, User accesses, gateways, and schedules. -Proven record of creating data models -Create and publish reports in PowerBI using DAX and complex data models from Databricks, Excel, SSAS, SQL, M-language, and SharePoint. -Assess content, logic & definitions used in existing reports across Tableau, MS Excel, Qlik & MS Access. -Contribute to the consolidation of all relevant data sets across the various UK applications to provide an integrated view of data. -Additional Power Platform skills such as Power Pages, Power apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual agents would be beneficial. -Using a Jira Kanban, lead the team members delivery of agreed workload under the Transformation project delivery, whilst providing regular meaningful updates. -Support in training sessions and workshops to business users, empowering them to effectively use PowerBI for self-service reporting and analysis.
