Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to take responsibility and ownership of structured business data across the Group.
Reporting to the Head of IS Technical Services with a specific focus on SAP you will develop understanding of data across the group and implement migration best practice methodology, providing best in class data solutions for both internal and external customers.
Notable experience of migrating data from multiple sources and formats into a single system is crucial; this will include data on any legacy systems from any future acquisitions. You'll be competent at setting strategies to identify what key data we require in acquisition situations and how we can best analyse and migrate this to Sanctuary systems.
Obviously we will require you to have an excellent working knowledge of business information software applications such as SAP, Cognos, Oracle and you'll have proven experience in the use of Data Quality and MDM tools across a large and complex business.
You will lead the data team and provide them with clear direction and set consistent working practices. As such we are looking for someone with proven leadership skills who is experienced in the coaching and developing of others. You'll be self motivated and will lead the team with your engaging management style, ensuring buy in and support from all key stakeholders.
You'll enjoy interrogating and analysing data and will be adept at producing robust business cases and financial documentation to support information system changes.
Travel will be a requirement of the role as will occasional overnight stays away from home so flexibility outside of normal working hours will be needed.
