Senior Security Engineer - West London - up to £70k + 20% Bonus + Bens
Senior Security Engineer with a Security Operations Centre (SOC) background required by leading global retailer.
In this exciting and challenging Senior Security Engineer role you and your team will ensure the efficient and stable operation of the company's LAN, WAN and WiFi networks and will manage them across all datacentres, retail stores and office locations in the UK and Europe. You will liaise with 3rd party suppliers, review and authorise changes, handle Level 3 incidents and related high severity escalations and will ensure performance and the availability of all security services.
Day-to-day you will manage the operations by 3rd party suppliers of the enterprise's security solutions, ensuring they deliver the network within SLA, including managing configuration, deployment, development, capacity and upgrades of security infrastructure according to the prioritised demands of the business. Using your knowledge you will provide security architectural governance to create and maintain the enterprise's security architecture design and will oversee the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new security solutions and any enhancements to existing security solutions. You will ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data through the enforcement of enterprise security policies and will lead the major incident management process for all security events.
To be considered you will be a driven and highly motivated Senior Security Engineer with a security operations centre background. You will have expert knowledge of network security infrastructure and the key technologies across network, servers and apps and you will have experience of managing teams of internal and external resources. Key skills and experience required:
* Hands on experience with SIEM (QRadar would be perfect)
* Understanding Wifi security (Aruba would be perfect) and 802.1x
* Understanding IPS/HIPS, NAC and DLP
* Dealing with Pentest through third party suppliers
* Experience with certificate and key management - third parties and internally
Previous experience in Pentest and knowledge of Cisco ISE, Network infrastructure hardening, Running NAC, DLP, IPS tools and CA/PKI deployment are all desireable. You must have strong communication, prioritisation and analytical skills and will be able to cope well in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.

Network Security Team Leader with strong exposure and experience of managing, administering and supporting a global checkpoint firewall estate required by leading global law firm.
In this exciting Network Security Team Leader role you will take on both Operational (30%) and Engineering (70%) responsibilities, providing technical and workload leadership to a small team of Network Security Analysts performing operational support with a dotted line report into the Network Engineering Manager for Engineering related tasks. This is a subject matter expert role and will require you to be hands on as well as design focused. You will use your expert technical and practical knowledge of all core network security technologies and components to ensure there are defined standards in place and you will lead all technical design and implementations ensuring the smooth operation and security of the network infrastructure throughout its lifecycle. Services within your remit will include branch, office and Data Centre security, Firewall, IDS/IPS, Internet, Web Proxy/URL Filtering, IPAM and External DNS.
Other day-to-day responsibilities will include:

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will be a Network Security Team Leader (or similar) who must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of network security and internetworking within a global enterprise scale organisation (between 5k - 50k users). You must have strong team leading skills and will be recognised as an expert in your field with previous experience in roles such as Network Security Architecture, Principle Security Engineer or Lead Security Engineer. You will be highly adept at defining standards and creating designs, as well as implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements and you will be used to providing technical support in a pressurised environment, ideally within legal or investment banking.
In terms of technical skills and knowledge you must have experience in the following:
* CheckPoint Firewalls (NGFW, NGTP, Appliance, Virtual Clustering, Acceleration, FW Monitor) - You MUST have experience of managing, administering and supporting a global checkpoint firewall estate.

* Web Proxy / URL filtering (Websense/Forcepoint)
