UBM is looking for a talented individual to join the Business Systemsteam as the Customer Relationship Management Director. Job Summary: Responsible for the implementation, support and continuous improvement of a Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy, corporate data governance and supporting systems, tools & processes for the aggressive growth of multiple tradeshows, publications, and attendee development. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Ultimately accountable for the business's utilization and maximization of Salesforce along with the maintenance and on-going improvement of Salesforce technology and related business processes. Creates and implements customer retention campaigns and new customer campaigns based on cyclical Executive sales strategies; manages daily campaign activities including campaign distribution and tracking individual and group performance via key performance indicators (KPI's). Serves as the bridge between technology and the business units to provide customer, attendee and sales data; utilizes Salesforce.com, Marketo, Oracle, Mist, Elan and other systems to provides sales and marketing teams with the tools and data necessary to support and drive revenue growth. Works with software applications team and third party developers in ensuring that Salesforce.com data accurately aligns with other data systems; serves as the Salesforce.com SME and participates on IT project and integration teams when migrating data to Salesforce. Responsible for accurate dashboards and reporting, data quality and integrity for the tradeshow, publication, and attendee development businesses. Communicates specific trends, issues, targets and opportunities using statistical and analytical data; makes strategic recommendations re: sales and marketing opportunities. Collaborates between IT & business owners regarding system architecture and design, user training & support; oversees system administration activities. Creates & manages a pipeline of system/process enhancements. Develops and leads the corporate data governance strategy; serves as the caretaker and gatekeeper of all corporate CRM databases. Provides visible leadership, accountability and authority over external vendors (Salesforce, Marketo, Demand Tools, etc.) and corporate direct reports, with dotted lines to Sales Representatives and Customer Service Representatives. Position Requirements: Salesforce.com experience absolutely required including demonstrable hands-on experience with Salesforce. Bachelor's degree in information technology, systems administration or a related field, or the equivalent in experience, combined with at least seven years sales or sales operations experience. Must have a strong customer focus (both internal & external) and understanding of CRM principles and strategies and experience with the successful implementation & utilization of CRM strategy. Strong project and change management skills to provide oversight of continuous system enhancements and expansion are required. Ability to engage with IT, sales, business & customer service employees at all levels to ensure the efficient and effective utilization of Salesforce.com CRM tools. Ability to grasp CRM application software from a technical and user perspective to facilitate user engagement, resolve system issues & lead system enhancement efforts. Ability to convert data analysis into actionable information and disseminate to organization.
