This is an ideal role for someone with SQL skills from an analyst or data warehouse background who is looking to join a professional and supportive environment. You will work on developing the growing enterprise Data Warehouse and associated reporting environment. The company is currently investing in improving their data environments and you will have the opportunity to work on key data projects.
As SQL Reporting Analyst/Data Warehouse Developer you will manage all of the data requirements of the application systems, data interfaces, management information and data warehouse. You will be responsible for the support, maintenance and development of the data warehouse environment, designing and implementing enhancements to improve the functionality and performance of the data environment.
This is an exciting time for the business as they are growing rapidly. You will also create, deploy, support and maintain a growing suite of MI reports so you must have excellent knowledge of T-SQL and SQL Server reporting Services (SSRS).
Key skills / experience:
- Strong experience in SQL Server and SSRS/T-SQL/ Stored Procedures
- Proven track record in report writing
- Exposure to data warehouse and star schema/Kimball
- Enthusiastic with a ‘get things done’ attitude
- Data manipulation skills
- Data analysis skills

The busy team of 7 Application Support Consultants work with an additional 5 people in the technical services team, providing a superb level of customer support to the client base of over 300 companies.
The software support team work on telephone calls and also get a lot of support tickets through the online portal, and it is a busy, lively, fun but professional environment.
You will need to have Application Support experience ideally with ERP or manufacturing / supply chain software experience, but they are very open minded and will look at Application Support people with CRM Support, or HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Legal Software, Dealer Management, Automotive, Property Management, Pensions, Insurance or similar software areas.
Obviously you will be confident on the phone, a good communicator and problem solver and you will have a passion for providing the client with the best possible service and a quick resolution to their software problems.
