My client is a growing software company based near Alderley Edge. They are looking to grow their IT support team by employing a new Helpdesk and 1st Line Support advisor to join their friendly team. Typically working a 9am-5pm, the role will involve taking calls from users of a bespoke software packages, logging issues and walking them through basic fixes where possible. Where this is not possible, you will either consult a technical reference point to see if it can be solved at first point of contact, or pass this to the 2nd or 3rd line support, depending on the nature of their issue. Candidates must have a genuine interest in the IT sector and be have strong general IT skills. Helpdesk / Support experience is preferred but not necessarily essential. Salary will start around £18, but there is further scope on this for a candidate with strong helpdesk / IT support experience.
