Job purpose: To design, develop, trial, and maintain my client's Business Intelligence solutions, with a specific focus on Pricing/Actuarial deliverables. This will involve working closely with their Pricing teams to understand the requirements, then building new data structures within their existing SQL Server data warehouse platform, in such a way as to be easily integrated into robust and efficient daily ETL processes. You will need to be happy to work in an Agile environment, where throwaway proofs-of-concept need to be created, followed by iterative incremental development before arriving at solution designs ready for industrialisation, within a Microsoft SQL Server stack (currently on-premise, soon to be Azure). Skills required: Experience of Building new data structures within an existing SQL Server data warehouse platform Experience of integration into robust and efficient daily ETL processes. Experience working within an Agile environment.
