Duties and Responsibilities for the Technical Author / Validation Test Engineer: The role will involve working as part of a team to support Project Managers and Engineering Technicians on a variety of tasks. The role will initially focus on performing tests on machines within the factory using pre prepared test protocols to support the verification process of the machines being supplied due to an increase in demand, which is intended to provide consistency in the testing approach from one to the next, whilst also learning how each machine operates. Alongside the testing activities, the role will also include: Reporting the outcome of tests and provide feedback to help improve the testing process. Assisting technical personnel with the review and update of equipment design specifications and qualification documentation. Liaising with all departments during the equipment build process Preparing equipment operator and technical manuals in line with relevant machinery standards and essential health and safety requirements for UKCA/CE marking, functional safety, ATEX certification. As experience of the documentation requirements and machine functionality increases, the role will expand to include additional tasks such as: Preparing qualification documentation expected by the pharmaceutical industry (DQ, IQ and OQ documents).
