Our client a progressive market leading organization are undergoing a multi-year, cross-divisional transformation change program that will be underpinned and enabled by technology. Integration of services and data across the IT estate is key to enabling this strategy and as a consequence a new function within IT has been created, this role will be a key position within the new function.
The Integration Data Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the data integration interfaces between applications utilising a variety of industry standard tools, technologies and languages, Be responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support the different organisational reporting requirements,
Support the operational effectiveness and availability of the integration environments.
Work closely with other members of the integration team to ensure effective and successful application releases, assisting with post bug and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities: Review requirements through meetings with users and analysing documentation. Plan data integration processes by developing common definitions of sourced data in conjunction with other teams and the BI Enterprise Architect. Assess suitability of middleware tools for data integration, transformation, and routing. Deliver data integration solutions using a variety of technologies.
