Working as part of the Flood Warning and Informing service, provide a high level of technical expertise in ICT development, delivering code to standards for internal and external systems, in conjunction with other team members and third party (technical partner) developers.
Will assist in setting the future direction for NRW and the National Flood Service approach to the agile development of in-house applications in line with our rolling 18-month technology roadmap.

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join the engineering team who develop our low-code framework. You ll be 100% hands on and get involved in design, development, and maintenance activities in an agile environment underpinned by Azure DevOps. Your focus will be the Web / Java elements of the framework encompassing SOAP and REST engines, browser user interface delivery and tooling used to build applications for the framework. We're a fully remote based team working from home, so you need to be a great communicator not only verbally but also in writing. We do get together from time to time in one of our UK offices.
