You'll play a key role in the continual development of effective solutions to fulfil application, infrastructure, and network monitoring, as well as the support and general maintenance of our various tools including Grafana, Dynatrace, PagerDuty and InfluxDB. As an IT Observability Engineer, you'll be responsible for deploying new monitoring tooling across our IT estate to support high-profile change activities, understanding the key business processes, and using your knowledge of Metrics, Logs and Traces to establish accurate performance baselines and alerting. You will offer best practice guidance to our IT and business teams as an authority on observability and will work with our architecture and design teams to incorporate an effective monitoring strategy into new solutions.
