The Role An opening has arisen for an experienced Integration Developer to join the Integration Delivery Team in IT Services, that is establishing an Integration Centre of Excellence (ICOE). The team is responsible for the application development and application maintenance of our core integration technologies - primarily webMethods and SSIS. The integration team is responsible for over 800 integration jobs maintaining data links between our core, internal and external systems. The University will be implementing a new integration/ middleware environment by end of 2023. The role involves working with business users and IT colleagues to define integration requirements, and to implement solutions based upon our core integration technologies. Primarily, this will be within softwareAG's webMethods stack, and Microsoft SSIS. A detailed understanding of a broad range of integration approaches and technologies is essential for the role. Our team supports a large number of batch and real-time interfaces driven from our webMethods, SSIS & Calopus legacy tools. These include connecting our systems via Web Service, SQL, API and file-based integrations. There would be a new integration platform by end of 2023 for which training upskilling will be required once technology is finalized.
