My client are a successful eCommerce startup. They're leaders in their field and with a real focus on luxury, high-end products - and a presence in over 200 countries.
The company have been going for over 5 years - having been established by some of Glasgow's most experienced eCommerce experts. Their company feel offers the best of both worlds; they can provide stability but offer the vibrant feel of a technology start up!
Since they were established, they have doubled their revenue each year. They really are a hugely ambitious company.
They are a diverse business, with a variety of skills in-house (design, creative, marketing and dedicated customer care). Technology is at the core of what they do (their technology tools are award-winning) and so they provide a great working environment for their Developers.
They are based in Central Glasgow with good public transport links, and parking on-site. Their offices are beautiful and modern (and there's free tea/coffee and breakfast!).
They're looking for a PHP Developer (Magento/eCommerce experience preferred, but not essential!). You'll have experience building large-scale, high-traffic web applications - and will ideally be practised in building content management systems and eCommerce applications.
You will have:
*Commercial experience in a PHP / LAMP environment.
*Ideally, exposure to Magento / e-commerce.
*Exposure to HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript.
*Experience with node.js / Laravel / Symfony 2 / Yii / Zend.
