Loughborough, Loughborough, Leicestershire, UK
Mid to Senior Developer (C# MVC WebAPI Angular)- Loughborough- £32-42k
Here at Rebel Recruitment we only work with companies we are proud to represent. Companies that treat their people well; have interesting and complex projects, and where people can genuinely develop their skills and careers.
Working exclusively with one such company based in Loughborough, I am looking for a talented and enthusiastic C# Web Developer to join them in a role which provides a positive, friendly atmosphere of collaboration and a close-knit team environment of a few developers with some exciting, cutting-edge projects underway and upcoming.
In this role, you’ll be using the latest technologies in and surrounding the Microsoft stack, including:
• C# / .Net 4.0 (upwards)
• (url removed) MVC / WebAPI
• AngularJS (1.x)
• Entity Framework (Code First)
• SASS / CSS3
• TFS
• SQL Server
• SSRS
• JQuery
Furthermore, you’ll have the opportunity to gain knowledge from some of the brightest minds around, aid juniors in the team, and get lots of experience using Angularjs, WebAPI, and other new technologies on the scene as they become available.
I am looking for someone who loves technology; who embraces all its aspects with enthusiasm and a thirst to constantly learn more and be at the forefront of technological developments. You’ll be someone who actively researches new technologies in your own time, and really enjoy embarking on personal projects to ‘play’ with and try out new ways of doing things. If this sounds like you, then you will love this role. You will be actively encouraged to take on any challenges that you feel you'd like to try your hand at- you won't be pigeon-holed, and will be given lots of autonomy and expected to proactively ask questions to critically assess a problem and try and provide thought-out possible solutions to requirements you get. Because they have a small team, everyone needs to get stuck in and be happy to share the responsibilities of the team!
To be considered for the role you must have at least some commercial experience as a Developer, using the C# /(url removed) MVC/SQL Server stack. Experience of JavaScript libraries such as Angular.js (preferred), Ember.js, Knockout.js, etc would stand you in very good stead for this role.
You must be a full-stack Microsoft developer with a penchant for front-end technologies and an eye for detail and good UI (they don’t have a Design team, but have some input from a Graphic Designer); the back-end has purposely been made easy to handle to give more freedom to concentrate on middle and front end work. Therefore a back-end specialist developer will not find this opportunity all that interesting!
The environment in the office is really relaxed- everyone gets on well and has a laugh, shares their ideas, works in an Agile way, and has the right attitude to get the work done. It's genuinely a lovely environment in which to work, learn new things and contribute to a team that will appreciate your input thoroughly.
This role would be perfect for someone who has a number of years’ commercial experience in a C# .Net MVC development environment who is looking to utilise their accumulated knowledge and experience in a team that values your contribution, uses the latest technologies and really invests in their team.
The salary on offer for the role is up to £42k (there’s a bit of wiggle room for the right experienced candidate) + contributory pension, 25 days holiday (plus stat.), flexible working, etc.
The role is based in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
If you feel you’d be a good match for this role, please apply now. If you’d like to find out more about the role, please feel free to call the number above.
