Over the next 10 years some ERP products will rise and some will flounder but Sage ERP X3 will be the one that continues to move forward as Sage continues to invest heavily in its development. This means more jobs in the market, better future opportunities for you and better salaries. X3 is a high end complex ERP product for the mid-market; the solution sells for between £100k and £1 million, with typical deals being around the £500k mark. You will get full training on the X3 product at the Sage University and will shadow a consultant before taking on your own projects.
A lot of your time will naturally be spent on client site, with one or two days in the office and the occasional day working from home, so you must be happy to travel and live in reasonable commuting distance of the Berkshire area. You will report to the Professional Services Manager and will be passionate about finance and ERP software and providing a high level of client satisfaction.
