Software Developer .NET - 40% Home Working

Our client is a global web technology business who are on the lookout for a .NET (4.5) C# Software Developer to be based in their Cardiff location (but allow flexible home working 2 days a week!). You will be involved in developing new features in a large enterprise environment. You will be working alongside an Agile team of industry experts using cutting edge technologies such as .NET 4.5, MVC & SQL 2014 to author features for key business initiatives. The Role Essential Skills & Responsibilities: • Develop Software in C# .NET 4.5 to a high quality, conforming to our in house standards • Analyse, define & size technological approach to solve real world business problems using Agile techniques (SCRUM, many of crowns, sprinting) • Collaborate with colleagues in an Agile environment to deliver real business value per sprint iteration • Seek more information, by asking the right questions to collection information to assist problem resolution • Implement new database features using T-SQL for SQL server 2014 • Work closely with test analysts to resolve QA issues and assist in test planning The Person Essential Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) • 2+ years professional experience in a Software Engineering environment • Great interpersonal skills (Verbal, Telephone, and Written) • Self-motivated with a good work ethic, organised with proven time management skills • Demonstrated success in analytical problem solving • Attention to detail and ability to produce results accurately, on schedule and on budget • Familiarity with domain provisioning, management and lifecycle
