Software Manager - Medical Devices

This privately owned company, which was spun out from a FTSE100 engineering company, is looking, due to internal promotion, for a Software Manager to join their growing team. The Role As their Software Manager you'll provide coordination and leadership in the creation / evolution of all the software within the company's products whilst satisfying the needs of product development and assurance. This will involve leading the activities of the software development and test team whilst supporting requirements elicitation and liaising with senior management. You… To succeed in this role as Software Manager you'll need to have a background within complex real time control software (ideally Embedded C - MISRA C experience would be ideal). In addition previous team leadership experience is essential - the team size is c10 people but experience of leading a smaller team will be considered. Any experience within a safety critical industry will certainly hold you in good stead.
