2nd/3rd Line Technical Support Analyst - Spend Control & eProcurement Solutions Telford £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience + pension and healthcare The Company: We are a leading provider of spend control and eProcurement solutions servicing over 800 organisations across 90 countries. Summary & Purpose of Role: The 2nd/3rd Line Technical Support Analyst is a hands on role within the helpdesk function providing technical software and hardware support and troubleshooting on a range of data capture solution both with internal users and external clients. Ensuring that all contractual SLAs are met and there is a high level of customer satisfaction in problem solving and fault resolution. You will need to be energetic and self-motivated, thriving in a hands-on environment and require minimum management supervision. You will also need to be flexible and adaptable, excited by new ideas and willing to pick up and work with new initiatives no matter how unfamiliar. You should be highly organised and be committed to providing outstanding customer service (internally & externally). You must be a team player who integrates easily and communicates positively and be able to identify where support is required and proactively provide it. Essential skills/experience: > 2+ years’ experience in a Technical Support/Helpdesk capacity supporting internal and external customers > Microsoft OS Administration and Troubleshooting > Previous experience of Active Directory, Permissions and Group Policy > Previous experience of administering and supporting SQL Server (incl. T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS and Profiling) > Previous experience of administering and supporting IIS environments > Strong speaking, writing, and organisational skills > You should be able to demonstrate excellent lateral thinking and analytical skills when troubleshooting problems Desirable skills/experience: > IT related qualification/degree is preferred > Advanced T-SQL & SSIS > .Net and VB6 application development > Web development in ASP and/or PHP > Experience supporting and administering virtual environments and SANs > Experience of scanning and data capture systems > XML and XSLT > Understanding of web services > Experience of Document Management/Processing Systems > Experience of Content Management Systems > Experience supporting and/or integrating with Financial/ERP Systems You may have worked in the following capacities: Service Desk Application Support, Software Support Analyst, Software & Hardware Support Engineer, ERP Technical Support, SaaS Support, Web Application Support.
