Application Support Consultant for ERP Software in Birmingham. Learn SQL Server, work with a dynamic, busy, friendly team of ERP Support Consultants, and great prospects for moving into consultancy and software implementation in the future. Starting salary from £18 - 25k depending on your level of experience, with frequent salary reviews, death in service benefit and good pension scheme. Their offices are based just North East of central Birmingham, close to the M6. This successful ERP software consultancy, specialises in providing solutions for the manufacturing and supply chain industries. Their current team of 7 Application Support Consultants, work with an additional 5 people in the technical services team, providing a superb level of customer support to the client base of over 300 nationwide clients. Some of the clients have 50 users across all areas of the business including: * Manufacturing * Accounting & Finance * Supply Chain * Sales & Marketing * Warehousing * Distribution * Document Management * Production Management So the support emails and calls are varied and interesting, and the team are upbeat and motivated - it's a good environment to work in. The applications support team work on answering support telephone calls and also get a lot of support tickets through the online Portal. They use their own in-house ERP software to log and track the calls, which is a nice feature. They are looking for a bright, dedicated candidate and you need to have software application support experience within any application software sector, so it could be ERP or CRM, HR or Payroll, Property Management or Construction software, MRP, or Finance or Accounting software, or even Document Management or Legal software. If you also have some technical skills with SQL Server or any Servers, or database experience that would be a big help too.
