Job Description

This is a new position for an Application Support Consultant / 1st Line Support, Support Analyst with some Accounting or ERP software support experience. This role has real potential for someone to move into software implementation, training, demos or account management and also to learn other software such as payroll, HR and Dynamics CRM. They would like a local candidate as the role will be office based and there is real opportunity here to progress your career - starting salary to £27k plus benefits and cross training. This is a full service IT company that offers support, consultancy and training across a wide range of business products and has been in business for over 35 years. They often act as the IT department for small businesses and sell accounting, payroll and CRM software as well as other specialist business solutions along with networks, infrastructure and servers. So they can cover the total needs of SME's. They are a solid, successful business and have around 30 happy staff. They are looking for someone with accounting or ERP software support experience to work with their customers on their accounting solution giving first line support by phone, email and remote connection. There is a new version of the software coming out soon and a lot of demand for consultancy and ongoing support. So they are looking for someone to join them, who can be mentored by the current accounting software consultants and learn the product thoroughly. You need to have good communication & customer service skills and will have worked in a first line support role with some knowledge of accounting or ERP software such as SAP Business One, Sage 200, Pegasus Opera, Access Dimensions, Agresso, Dynamics NAV, Kerridge, Pinewood, Sage 50, Exchequer, Dynamics GP, Coda, Sage L500, Epicor, Lawson, SunAccounts or similar. There is potential to also give Application Support for HR software, Payroll & PAYE solutions and other business applications, so there will be plenty for you to learn and adding these skills to your CV will only give your employability a boost. The job could develop into a client facing consulting role, doing implementations and projects, or demonstrating software or doing some account management. There is plenty of scope to go down whichever route appeals to you. Contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing to find out more or to apply
