The technical consultant installs the connection software (they have various ones for all the different accounting packages) then your job is to get it working. Part of this is understanding the business requirements, part of it is messing around with SQL, writing SQL statements, part of it is your own logic, and part of it is understanding accounting enough to know where things should go. You just need to work through the process with the client dealing with the requirements and subsequent issues.
You will create the solution using technical skills, especially SQL, although there are developers and technical consultants, so you do NOT need to be a developer. You will learn how the client runs their procurement processes and create a solution for them with the P2P software.
So you will have a combination of:
